Ok, as promised... This post is about my Batam Spa trip on 25th July 2009 Day 1 at Batam.
Our ferry will depart at 9.20am, so we need to reach Harbour front centre by 8.20am. Its LONG QUEUE!!! But the Q moves fast, so its actually quite ok.
We took (BELOW) Jet Raider to Sekupang Terminal.

(BELOW) Our boarding pass - Details like our name, passport number, ferry number, time etc were printed behind (too bad we cannot bring the boarding pass home)

Notice the mini mahjong set sticking out from my bag... :p we intend to play on that night when we got nothing to do.

Finally reached Batam! After chopping my passport and waiting for the gals, I saw Raymond (Suanne's bro in law)... He is indeed always goint to Batam. Then we boarded the resort bus that will bring us str to the resort (and its just a 5-10mins drive)

ITS VERY HOT!

Once we reached, we can check in and put our barangs in our cottage! YAY!

There are 2 doors to the cottage, one is the entrance, the other is to the balcony.

(BELOW) And there is this huge statue just behind our cottage.
I felt a bit relieved/safe seeing this.

(BELOW) C6 is our cottage... But if we were to walk to the reception its TIRING! or rather, we walked from reception to our cottage is most tiring due to the slope.

After taking pictures and put our stuff in the cottage, we went out to take some pictures in the resort itself. This whole stretch of cottage you see in the below picture, are smaller cottages, MUCH smaller. 2 cottage sharing 1 balcony. But the view is good! Nearer to the sea as well. But the one below is a lagoon.

The water in the swimming pool is not the florine water we had in normal swimming pools, the water is actually from the sea.

We walked back to the reception and asked how do we get here to the town area. Resort staff quoted SGD$12, from KTM resort to town (Nagoya Hill).
So we took the taxi, and off we went. The journey seems long - half an hour(?)
Upon reaching there, we head to the money changer to change some IDR.
Exchange rate is S$1 = IDR 6,850. We were given a IDR20,000 voucher (redemable for manicure, pedicure, hair services)
After that we decided to have out nreakfast/lunch, so OFF WE HEAD TO A&W!
(BELOW) Lin had 2 piece chicken meal with root beer (IDR42,900 = S$6.26)

(BELOW) Fang had 2 piece chicken meal with root beer float (IDR 45,400 = S$6.63)

(BELOW) I am waiting for my chicken strips :( while the gals started eating

(BELOW) Here came my Chicken strips meal with root beer float! (IDR41,000 = S$5.99)

(BELOW) After eating, we took some pictures then we went to shop around.

There are several gift shops, selling cute little things, and A LOT OF SHOPS selling fake LVs, Guccis, Chanel... Then we went to do Manicure/Pedicure. I did Manicure, while the gals did both manicure & pedicure. (pictures below)
After our manicure session, we head to the supermaket OMG and we went crazy buying tidbits... And we got no time already! Our spa starts at 5pm (Batam time), and we left Nagoya Hill at 4.45pm? HAHA!! We took a taxi outside the shopping mall, the taxi fare is S$15.
We had 2 plastic bags (full of tidbits) each. And i felt quite tired already! We alight just outside our cottage and we went in to put our stuff and off we went to the spa! Late for half an hour i think! And I realised there is no telephone in the cottage.. :p

(BELOW) The sun is real HOT! and we were all sweating from the rushing and the sun!

(BELOW) Took pics while waiting... Fang's Manicure, din take pic of her pedicure thou (coz in the supermarket jus now, she used the trolley and rolled over her toe! :X) Mani (with 10 nail art) + Pedi for her is about IDR300,000+ (Abt S$45)

(BELOW) Lin's Manicure (with 2 nail art). She did pedicure as well. (din take pic of her pedicure because she accidentally stepped on her toes, and spoiled the pedi! :X) Total I think is IDR200,000+ (S$30+) I tink.

(BELOW) My Manicure (With 10 nail arts), i did not do pedi.
Total IDR182,000 (S$26.57)

(BELOW) We soak our feet and they rubbed our feet with some sea salt kind of thing i tink.

Then we proceeded to another villa for our massage. They push another bed into the villa, so that we 3 can massage together. We were asked to take off our clothes and wearing only a disposable panty and wrapped in a towel, then laid facing down while the massage starts. WA PAIN! ahhahah.. and i felt so sweaty and uncomfortable. I think the whole massage last 45mins? hahah and they did poured massage oil on my back and legs and massage. Butt included :X
Then I was told to lie facing upwards, there I saw the sun is setting...
Soon, we were brought to another villa, whereby we have our fun jacuzzi session! Times up! We got up, and went to bath ourselves, and we were brought back to the 1st villa just now, and we were served ginger tea - as below.

We were hungry and so super hungry! We ate A&W at 11.30am (batam time) and after we finished with the spa its 8+pm! We proceeded to the 'restaurant' and ordered our food.

(BELOW) Then suddenly there is fireworks! - in singapore. Coz of NDP rehearsal! I was so super excited - I simply love fireworks:)

Ok, cannot see the fireworks clearly BUT I saw it with my own eyes, still pretty but FAR. :X

(BELOW) 3rd dish - Omelette with crab meat (and it is really crab meat not crab stick)

(BELOW) 4th Dish - Fried fish fillet in Thai sauce

(BELOW) 5th Dish - Baby Kai Lan in oyster sauce

(BELOW) *burp*
Total IDR279,500 = S$43 (they charge us IDR6500 = S$1) - we paid in Sing dollar. And also, they din add baby Kai Lan into the bill. :p
After dinner, we went back to our cottage... Got to climb the slope again! :X

(BELOW) Back at the cottage, we took turns to bath, then we took out our buys and took pictures!
The snacks/tidbits I bought... IDR186,040 = S$27.16

And did I say, when paying for the tidbits at the supermarket, we ran short of money, Lin accompany me to the money changer and changed more $$!

(BELOW) Yakult! VERY CHEAP. I think its only S$1+?

I bought 2, so I opened 1 and share with the gals. Taste the same!

After keeping and sorting our tidbits, we took out the mahjong and play! I din bring chips, so we noted down on a paper. We played while watching channel U, I guess 3X! Feel so at home yea. :X
Me: Won S$0.60
Lin: Lose S$3.80
Fang: Won S$3.20 (with the help of her 'gan'!)

Then we went to bed, very tired!
